Each school will sit their A Level Maths exams with a different exam board but the most common currently are Edexcel and OCR MEI.

I generally ask students how they feel about each of the core topics and sometimes it would be most appropriate to start from scratch during lessons, where we cover one to two topics per session and encourage further practice independently. Group classes or one-to-one sessions can work equally well here. At other times, students will already know the topics but trip up with hard questions or exam pressure. Here, I will go through hard questions and build up confidence, and in-person lessons work best here!
