- There are three parts of Thailand: Bangkok, the islands, the North
- Bangkok: motorcycle taxi, cooking class, sky bar
- pack lightly because there is a lot of cheap clothing available

- Ghost Tower (50 story building that went down during the recession, visit for sunset)
- South to the Islands: take the sleeper train (cheap) or the plane
- The islands have two main parts.
- Left side:
- couples or relaxation
- 4 island tour for just $30
- Koh Phi Phi:
- stunning island
- fire dancers
- questionable alcohol from bucket
- Maya Bay
- Phuket: better for resorts or spas and not for exploring
- Right side:
- Koh Phangan (biggest party island)
- full moon party (June 21st)
- skip Koh Samui (resorts)
- Koh Tao (has great nightlife, views, activities, shopping, watch Muay Thai).
- North Side (take sleeper train to Chiang Mai)
- culture
- amazing elephant sanctuary
- scooter or bus to Pai (amazing roads)
- Tham Lod Cave (feed the fish)
- Go into Pai
- Go to the Pai Canyon for sunset
- White Buddha
- Go back to Bangkok
